L’entreprise japonaise de biopharmacie Takeda est parvenue en octobre dernier à un accord avec Moderna et le ministère japonais de la Santé, du Travail et du Bien-Être en vue de distribuer 50 millions de doses au premier semestre 2021, sous le nom de TAK-919. Le 21 mai 2021, Takeda a annoncé que le gouvernement japonais avait autorisé la formule et que la distribution commencerait avec effet immédiat.
